Depresión en adolescentes embarazadas de 11 a 18 años que acuden al Hospital Municipal de Yamasa, periodo enero – marzo, año 2024

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la prevalencia de depresión en adolescentes embarazadas de 11 a 18 años que asisten al Departamento de Psicología del Hospital municipal de Yamasa , periodo Enero- Marzo, República Dominicana, año 2024.Este estudio fue de tipo explicativo, de campo y descriptivo con metodología analítica, sintética y deductiva. La muestra estuvo constituida por 35 adolescentes embarazadas y se utilizó como instrumento de investigación un test psicométrico concerniente al Inventario de Depresión de Beck (BDI-2). Sobre los resultados obtenidos en los Adolescentes Embarazadas se determinó que el 37% se encontraba entre los límites normales, un 23% presentó depresión mínima, un 18% fue identificada con depresión leve, un 11% presentó depresión moderada, mientras que un 11% presentó depresión severa, siendo los factores asociados a depresión ser madre soltera en el 31%, presentar bajos recursos económicos con un 26%, apoyo familiar deficiente con un 23% y embarazo no buscado con un 20%.
